Leading the future of digital entertainment

NIP Group is a comprehensive digital entertainment group, uniting esports, arena event production, talent management, hospitality, and game publishing under one distinctive umbrella.

NIP Group was formed in 2023 following the merger between legendary Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas and the Chinese gaming powerhouse ESV5. Backed by 20+ years of esports pedigree we are building the future of digital entertainment by creating innovative arena experiences, nurturing content creators and bringing gaming into everyday life.

With more than 250 staff in our offices in Sweden, China, Abu Dhabi and Brazil, NIP Group has a uniquely global reach. The breadth of our offering in the entertainment space means we have the capability to produce truly transformative gaming experiences that are completely unmatched.

Corporate social responsibility

At Nip Group, we harness the power of esports to inspire environmental action, partnering with WWF in initiatives like Earth Hour and global fundraising campaigns. Through these efforts, our players and community promote eco-friendly practices and raise awareness for conservation, demonstrating how esports can contribute to overcoming global environmental challenges.
Harnessing Esports for Environmental Sustainability

At NIP Group, we leverage the unique reach of esports to inspire positive environmental action. Our ongoing partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and participation in global initiatives like Earth Hour showcase this commitment. In 2023, our Wuhan eStarPro team actively supported WWF's Earth Hour campaign, with players becoming star volunteers and promoting eco-friendly practices through social media and personal actions. This built upon our 2021 collaboration, where NIP joined a global fundraising campaign, participating in livestream events to raise funds and awareness for WWF's conservation programs. By engaging our players and community in these initiatives, we aim to inspire widespread adoption of sustainable practices. We encourage our community to join us in making small, everyday changes that collectively impact our planet's health, demonstrating that esports can play a crucial role in overcoming global environmental challenges.

Championing Diversity: Women's LAN 2023 Empowers Inclusive Esports

We demonstrated our commitment to diversity and inclusion in esports by hosting the Women's LAN 2023 event on December 16, 2023, in Stockholm, Sweden. This innovative gaming and esports event was specifically designed for women and non-binary individuals, offering a blend of competitive gaming, social interaction, and entertainment. The event featured tournaments, a nail-bar, meet-and-greets with esports professionals, and panel discussions on women in professional esports. Members of NIP Impact, the organization's all-female CS2 team, participated, sharing their experiences and insights. By organizing this event, NIP Group took a significant step towards creating opportunities for underrepresented groups in esports, fostering important discussions about gender diversity, and inspiring the next generation of esports professionals from diverse backgrounds.

Protecting the Smile of the Yangtze River

At NIP Group, we're committed to leveraging esports for positive environmental impact, focusing on protecting the endangered Yangtze River dolphin. In partnership with the Wuhan Baiji Conservation Foundation, our Wuhan eStarPro team adopted the dolphin as its mascot, symbolizing our dedication for this urgent cause. We've raised funds and awareness through initiatives like Tencent 99 Giving Day, donating RMB 117,210 to conservation efforts. Our involvement extends beyond financial support, with eStarPro players participating in educational events about artificial breeding. We're proud to sponsor "e-Wave," a dolphin born through these efforts. Through these initiatives, NIP Group demonstrates how organizations can contribute significantly to environmental conservation, inviting our community to join us in protecting these remarkable creatures and their ecosystem.

Leading the Change in Esports Sustainability

We are dedicated to lead the change for sustainability in esports. Our Director of Innovation, Laura Rojas Uribe, has represented NIP at recent UN Climate Change Conferences (COP27 & COP28), showcasing our innovative solutions and participating in crucial discussions on how the esports industry can contribute to  achieving climate goals. We've partnered with FILA to explore sustainable fashion in esports, creating jerseys with digital garment IDs to address environmental impacts. Furthermore, by signing the Sustainable Web Manifesto, we've committed to reducing our digital carbon footprint through various initiatives. Through these efforts, NIP Group continues to demonstrate that organizations can play a crucial role in promoting sustainability and driving positive change in the esports industry and beyond.

Partnership with Min Stora Dag: Bringing Joy to Children with Serious Illnesses

A meaningful partnership has been established between NIP Group and Min Stora Dag (Swedish for: 'My Big Day'), a Swedish charity dedicated to bringing joy to children with serious illnesses.

This collaboration aligns with our commitment to making a positive impact beyond esports. Min Stora Dag organizes "Big Days" for the approximately 200,000 children in Sweden facing serious health challenges, providing them with special experiences that bring them strength and happiness. As NIP Group we supported this cause by hosting events where children can meet their esports idols - our players. We've successfully organized two such events, one in 2021 and another in 2022, with a third scheduled for Q4 2024. These "Big Days" exemplify our dedication to using our platform to create meaningful experiences that extend beyond gaming, demonstrating our belief in the power of esports to inspire and bring happiness to those who need it most.
